AI visibility tracking

Know when AI answers mention your business.

A mention, a recommendation and a source citation are different signals. Astle AI keeps sampled answers and citation evidence together so you can inspect what changed, rather than relying on an unexplained visibility number.

What AI visibility tracking measures

Set up a website, a brand name and the questions your potential customers ask. Scheduled runs collect web-assisted API responses from supported GPT, Gemini and Claude model configurations. The report checks whether the brand name appears and whether cited URLs belong to your domain.

These are API samples, not recordings of the ChatGPT, Gemini or Claude consumer applications. Consumer answers can differ because of personalization, location, search configuration, conversation history and model version. A sample is evidence of that run, not a census of everything customers see.

What AI visibility tracking measures
SignalWhat it tells youWhat it does not establish
Brand mentionYour name appeared in an answerThat the answer endorsed your product
Domain citationA source URL matched your siteThat the citation caused a visit or sale
Change over timeSamples differed across runsThat a particular website edit caused the change

Choose questions that represent buying decisions

Start with specific customer jobs rather than prompts that already contain your brand name. A question such as ‘Which inventory tools support a small multi-location retailer?’ tests discovery. A question asking whether your own product is good tests a different stage of research.

Keep a stable core of questions so comparisons remain interpretable. Record a website release or a new product page alongside the trend, then inspect several later runs. One missing mention is a reason to investigate, not proof that your brand has disappeared.

  • Discovery: which products solve the customer's problem?
  • Evaluation: which options satisfy an important constraint?
  • Comparison: what tradeoffs matter between named alternatives?
  • Validation: what evidence supports the answer's claims?

How tracking access works

Starter tracking costs 30 credits for 30 days and supports one website. Agency tracking costs 100 credits for 30 days and supports five websites. Each project supports up to five questions. Runs are scheduled daily, subject to provider availability and usage limits.

Credit purchases are not live yet. Existing operator-granted credits can activate tracking from the billing dashboard. Tracking access does not include a repository fix job; the two are separate decisions.
